A few days ago, the Kitchenaid Mixer I use at the shop stopped mixing. The motor was good, but it wouldn't go 'roundy-roundy' any longer. I had to get some bath bombs made and on the shelf, so I made them using a whisk... much longer and more labor intensive than when I can use the mixer.
I looked online and figured out that the worm gear had failed and it needed replacing. I found the part and ordered in yesterday. The part arrived this morning! (Fairly fantastic is that!)
I brought the mixer home where all the cool tools are, phillips and flat screw driver, a punch and a tack hammer. Not to mentional a fistful of papertowels to wipe off the grease.
I had found a video on Youtube that would walk me through the process and set to work. Half an hour later, I now have a fully functional Kitchenaid mixer. Yahooooooo!
Should your Kitchenaid mixer stop going roundy-roundy... here is the video that shows how to fix it. https://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=VeCiivPt7hk
Have a great evening folks.
Oooooooo. If you are going to the Admiral Theatre tomorrow evening for the Sounds of the Season, you should be seeing a half page ad for F.R.O.G. Soap! That is just so cool. Bring that ad to me and get a 10% discount on your purchase! Or, bring a ticket stub... that will work too! Laura
